Hofbrau Haus (10/23)

A German landmark. Home of the swinging beer steins, polka music, pretzels, drunk Japanese businessmen and college twinks dressed up with lederhosen. It was a hoot and so.much.fun. The food was not bad either, a nice complement to a cold day of touring around Munich bundled up in sweaters and coats.

The kids were ready to eat after a full evening of swimming at the pool.

The menus were in both German and English :)

Beloved and I share a stein

German folk music to accompany our meal. The saxhorn player was VERY cheeky. He wanted a kiss on the cheek and  I said "Nein" :)

Bumpo drinking cider and Doe drinking tea. She has discovered a real love for tea on this trip.

Two sweet frau getting down

A low-calorie repast....just kidding....

Tank is overjoyed with his menu selection

Bumpo asked me to take a picture of her before she dug into her meal.

The Japanese are a rowdy bunch

Beloved making friends wherever he goes....look at his daughter's expression.

If we bought a huge pretzel we could get our picture taken with the cookie maid.

Leaving our Mark. A Hofbrau Haus tradition :)

A nice break for Beloved before his huge presentation the next day. He appreciated the good food and the distraction before he stuck his nose back into his computer for the night :)
